Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh was founded on the celebrated day of Dushehra in 1925 under its inspiration All India Educational Society “Vidya Bharit” was founded. In 1952 “Vidya Bharti” started first Nursery school in Gorakhpur. Then with heart, belief, determination and to see a vision with eyes wide poen, the workers and volunteers gave these schools a name i.e. “Saraswati Shishu Mandir’. These Saraswati Vidya Mandirs gained a lot of fame and prestige as the symbols of best education institutes and the centres of traditional and cultured education full of ethics.
In 1977 to administer and to manage these schools “Vidya Bharti All India Education Society was established. Now Vidya Bahrti is managing 28, 861 education institutes where 1, 57, 741 teachers are giving ethical education to 32, 33, 377 pupils.
