HIMACHAL SHIKSHA SAMITI

 Since 1980 after the establishment, to reach to the hard and rural areas of 12 districts, schools have been started. Like eg. Sangla (9000 ft. height from sea level) in Kinnaur district. Pangi Tehsil (Kilad) in Chamba District, Keylong and Jalma in Lahaul district and Dodra Kwar in district Shimla. Today having 249 education institutes out of which 2 are residential serving nearly 32, 302 pupils and having 2323 teachers.
